It’s not easy being a little spider when you have no talent for spinning webs. Hoping to teach her how to weave properly, her mother leaves her in the care of the fearsome Mister Beetle and his gang of broken-legged misfits. There, she meets a lisping fly with crooked teeth, a bumblebee who won’t stop crying, and a firefly that only half-lights the way.
